Pricing & plans
What Open Free Max costs — the OFM Pro plan, the launch price and final price, and the 7-day free trial with no credit card. OFM Pro is the IDE licence and is separate from your agent provider subscription.
Open Free Max is a paid product with a free trial. This page explains exactly what you pay for — and what you don’t.
Two different subscriptions (don’t confuse them)
- OFM Pro — the licence for the IDE itself (Mission Control, Plan, the editor, the whole app). This is what’s described below.
- Your agent provider plan — your Claude / Codex / Gemini / … subscription, which powers the agents. OFM never touches it and never adds an API meter — see Subscription vs API.
You keep paying your LLM provider as you do today; OFM Pro is the small layer on top that gives you the IDE.

How the trial starts
Download Open Free Max, install it, and sign in inside the app. Your 7-day trial starts automatically — no card, nothing to configure. When it ends, subscribe from the in-app account screen to keep going.
Managing your subscription
Account creation, subscription management and invoices all live in a native account screen inside the app. From there you can open the secure customer portal to update payment details, download invoices, or cancel.
